Meetings for First Penance/Confession
As part of parents preperation for their childs First Communion this year all parents are invited to attend a meeting about First Penance/Confession. These meetings will take place as follows:
Cill Mhuire Tuesday 28th February at 8.00 p.m.
St Conleths Church Thursday 1st March at 8.00 p.m.
The meetings will help to explain the sacrament and its importance to both parents and their children.
The meetings are for Parents/Guardians only - not children
Please attend which meeting suits you best.
The dates for First Penance/Confession are as follows
Tuesday 6th March Cill Mhuire at 7.30 p.m.
Wednesday 7th March Dominican Church at 7.30 p.m.
Saturday 10th March Parish Church at 11.00 a.m.

First Holy Communion 2012
In all three Churches on the weekend of 5th/6th May 2012 and the weekend of 12th/13th May 2012
Booking in/Registration will take place in various venues during November.
Children wishing to receive their First Holy Communion in Cill Mhuire, registration will take place in Cill Mhuire Church on Saturday 13th November 2010 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon
Children wishing to receive their First Holy Communion in St. Conleth’s Parish Church, registration will take place in St. Conleth & Mary’s School on Sunday 14th November 2010 from 9.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.
Children wishing to receive their First Holy Communion in the Dominican Church, registration will take place on Sunday 14th Novembeer 2010 in the Annex of the Church following the 10.30 a.m. Mass.
Registration will continue in the Parish Office from Mon – Wed from 2.00 p.m. – 4.30 p.m.
*When booking in please bring completed Yellow Form. If your child was baptised outside the parish of Newbridge a copy of their baptismal certificate must also accompany this.
Parents are reminded that First Communion is most importantly a family celebration and a faith event, celebrated in the parish family.
