This year’s 2012 Trócaire Lenten campaign is “Rebuilding
Communities for lasting change.” The campaign highlights a
community in northern Uganda – Bar Kawach – coming out of
the ruins of war and injustice.
Theirs is a unique story ofreturning home after conflict,
and the struggles faced by them in order to rebuild their lives, families, livelihoods and community.

You can support the campaign by taking home a Trócaire Box
which are available in the Church porches.

The death has occurred of Christopher ( Christy ) Byrne of The Oaks and formerly Orchard Park, Curragh Camp. Newbridge, Kildare

Reposing at the home of his daughter, Angeline, Acorn Downs, Newbridge from 12 o’clock on Wed. 15th with removal on Friday at 10.15 to St. Brigid’s Church, Curragh Camp arriving for 11 o’clock Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.
