Profile: Maureen is a native of Kilkenny. She joined the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary and Joseph in 1971. She spent two years in Ghana in the 1970’s. She began work in Paris Ministry with the Dominicans first in St. Marys and then in Balrothery. By way of sabbatical she spent one year in Kilkenny working with people with special needs. She returned to parish ministry in 1995 when she came to Newbridge. Areas of involvement: VdeP, school chaplain. Communion programme, Faith Friends, Communion to sick, parish prayer group, readers co-ordinator, liturgy, inter-church group.
