Profile: Margarita is a native of Newbridge and was educated by the Holy Family Sisters. She qualified as a teacher and after a few years teaching, she took up an administrative job. In the early 1980s, she moved to England and lived in Surrey, London, Manchester and Liverpool, where she trained and then worked as a Spiritual Director and Retreat Leader. This was followed by six months of further training in the U.S.A. On returning home to Ireland, she came back to Newbridge and joined the Parish Team as a Parish Pastoral Minister. Since her days training as a retreat leader, she has sought to make Jesus Christ known and loved. Her main concern in the parish is to awaken and deepen faith among adults. This brings her into contact with many adults who are interested in growing in faith and developing a personal relationship with GodSr.
