Scoil Mhuire was founded twenty four years ago. Since then, it has grown to become two schools catering for boys and girls from junior infants to second class in one school and third and sixth in the senior school. There are currently over nine hundred children enrolled in the school from the Ballymany area and outlying areas. The school prides itself on its high standard of care and education for children. There are visiable successes in the Cumann na mBunscol competitions, the school quizzes, the scholarship examinations, the art displays and the winning of awards in environmental awareness and performing arts. The high point in the history of our school was a visit by President McAleese.
