Welcome, and thank you for visiting our parish website. The parish of St Conleth is one of the largest in the country. The population within the parish boundaries is more than 25,000. The Christian presence in this area dates back continuously to the times of St Brigid and St Conleth who were contemporaries in the 5th century.

The foundation stone of the Church of Our Lady and St. Joseph in Caragh was blessed on October 5th 1958 by Bishop Thomas Keogh. The Church is of Gothic design with an Anglo-Norman tower rising to a height of one hundred feet.

A Big Thank You from all at Share Food

Newbridge Parish Share Food: We would to thank all our townspeople who gave so generously to our appeal last weekend. We ask our existing donors to increase their generosity over the next few weeks and we also invite new donors to help the needy of our town.  At present we require in-date dry food of all descriptions including biscuits, pasta, breakfast cereal, tea, coffee, sugar and rice. We also need jars and tins of meat, fish, fruit, peas, beans, jam, pasta & curry sauces and vegetables. As well as weekend Mass, food can also be donated at the Parish Centre, Dunnes, Tesco and SuperValu.
