The Christian presence in this area dates back continuously to the times of St Brigid and St Conleth who were contemporaries in the 5th century.

The 4th Anniversary of “Light up the Skies of Kildare” will take place on Wed Sept 10th (World Suicide Awareness Day) in Newbridge Greyhound Stadium from 8pm.
This week, some members of our parish, including our Pastor, Fr Joe will travel on pilgrimage to the Holy Land with members of our neighbouring parishes.
Please keep them in your prayers and they make their sacred journey. We all know the volatile situation in the Middle East and we pray to God that He will keep watchful care over them to keep them safe during their pilgrimage. They in turn will be remembering us as the visit sacred sites in the homeland of the Lord.
Farewell to Fr. Ruairí who has spent 9 years working with us here in Newbridge and we welcome two additions to our parish clergy: Fr. Paul Dempsey and Deacon Jim Stowe who have been officially appointed to our parish .
