Chrism Mass 2015 – A Message to You from Bishop Denis

A Message to You from Bishop Denis
I want to take this opportunity to invite you to come to Carlow for this year’s celebration of the Chrism Mass on Monday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cathedral.

It promises to be a very special occasion with beautiful music and ritual. During this Mass the Holy Oils that will be used across the diocese in baptisms, confirmations, ordinations and anointing of the sick will be blessed and the priests of the diocese will renew their priestly commitment.

I look forward to meeting and saying hello to as many of you as possible after the Mass over a cuppa next door in Carlow College. So put the date in your calendar because your presence will make all the difference!

+ Bishop Denis

24 Hours for the Lord (March 13-14)

Three parishes in the Diocese will host 24 Hours for the Lord.  Priests will be available to hear confessions throughout the 24 hours. Bishop Denis Nulty will attend each parish at various times during the 24 hours.
