Welcome to Newbridge and Caragh Parishes
Welcome, and thank you for visiting our parish website. The parish of St Conleth is one of the largest in the country. The population within the parish boundaries is more than 25,000. The Christian presence in this area dates back continuously to the times of St Brigid and St Conleth who were contemporaries in the 5th century.
Weekend Masses & the Daily 10am Mass take place in Scoil Mhuire Snr School Hall until the end of August.
Many thanks to all those who took a sponsorship card to help fund the refurbishment of Cill Mhuire Church, Ballymany, Newbridge. It has been very successful with many sponsorship cards already returning (with about a third of the cards returned we have just over €5,000 collected). We invite people, if they haven’t already done so, to return their cards and envelopes to St. Conleth’s Church, Scoli Mhuire Senior (where Mass is being held while the church is being refurbished) or to the Parish Office, Station Rd. Again many thanks for your continued generous support!
